Meet the Doctor

Dr. Greg Notestine

I am passionate about helping my patients receive the best dental care possible. I believe in not only working to help you have the healthiest smile possible, but also a smile that helps you feel the best about yourself.

Practicing Since 1977

I have been a practicing dentist since 1977. I graduated from The Ohio State College of Dentistry. In 1992 I completed Case Western Reserve University’s Certification program in Cosmetic and Esthetic Dentistry, the first program of its kind in the world.

Accredited Status American Academy of Cosmetic Denistry

In 1994 I earned Accredited Status by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I am the only Miami Valley dentist with this distinction. I have completed thousands of hours of continuing education courses to insure my patients are getting the best dental care possible.

State of Ohio Certified In Conscious Sedation

In 1978 I was certified by the State of Ohio in Conscious Sedation, which simply means, if you are a nervous visitor to the dentist, I can administer a number of sedatives to make your stay in my office more pleasant. While sedated, more dentistry can be completed at each visit, reducing the number of appointments

Memberships

I am a member of the American Dental Association, The Ohio Dental Association, and the Dayton Dental Society, where I have chaired committees and served on the Board of Directors. At Miami Valley Hospital, I served as Vice-Chairman of the Medical/Dental Staff and I am serving on the Ethics Committee.

Dayton Native

I was born and raised in Dayton. I graduated from Wright State University and Carroll High School. I completed a General Practice Residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, where I gained hospital experience and remain on the Medical/Dental staff.

Community Service

I have served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Wright State University Alumni Association. I am the President of the Carroll High School Alumni Association. I am an active member and volunteer at St Francis of Assisi Church. I also donate my time and skills as the volunteer Dental Director at the Good Neighbor House, a medical clinic for the working poor.
