Gumlift
A gumlift is a minor surgery to trim away a thin edge of gum away from a tooth. It is done with a small amount of local anesthetic and heals in a very short time.
A gumlift is recommended when:
- The gum covers too much of a tooth and the tooth is partially hidden
- The gumlines are uneven to a point of detracting from your smile
- Medicines or illness cause the gums to overgrow and partially cover the teeth
